What’s in the shop?
Below is a list of the tools I personally use in my shop. You’ll find some recurring themes, like a good number of Ryobi tools. They’re good quality tools that are fairly affordable for the home DIYer–If you’re not a contractor, spending $400-$500 on a combo kit may be daunting. This list consists of primarily affiliate links, so by clicking through these links and purchasing a product, I receive a commission, with no extra cost incurred by you. In order to get credit with HomeDepot.com, the items must be purchased online for pickup in store. Any purchase you make helps us keep the lights on, so thanks you for your help!

Shopsmith
One of the pride and joy pieces in my shop is my grandfather’s 1956 Shopsmith “Greenie.” It’s ancient, but the old girl still runs, so I’m able to use her for things. I have some items that were stored at a friends house that still haven’t been located, I’m including them in the list because, someday, they’ll be located. Eventually.
Currently using
1956 Shopsmith Mark V
Magna Corporation Bandsaw
Magna Corporation Jigsaw
Shopsmith Jointer
Not yet located, but owned**
Shopsmith belt sander
Shopsmith 12″ planer
**To make a long story short, items denoted on this list are items that I know I own because my grandfather kept all of his receipts, however at the time of this page’s publishing, I’ve not yet located them–it’s only a matter of time before they turn up and get brought into the rotation.
